We Do Waxes

Many are choosing to do waxing today, as it's a faster way of getting rid of hair, and the hair grows back thinner and slower. Waxing can be a painful process, but here at Cinema Paradiso, we try our best to make waxing as painless as possible. Waxing is available for both men and women, and can be done on several areas of the body.

Common areas for waxing are upper lip, underarms, and the bikini area. Any area where there is hair can be waxed, but please note that this may be a somewhat painful process, depending on the location. One of the most popular types of waxes is a Brazilian wax. Brazilian wax consists of removing most of the hair from the pubic area, and only leaving a small strip of hair.

Before A Repeat Waxing

Once the hair is removed, the area is smooth and hair free for up to three weeks. Once the hair begins to grow back, it's not recommended that you shave. Do not come in for a repeated session, until the hair grows to a minimum of a quarter inch. Seeing that there may be some pain and discomfort after waxing, there are some recommendations to make it go more smoothly. You may want to take ibuprofen prior to the waxing, especially in the bikini area. 

No shaving should be done on the area for several weeks prior to getting an area waxed, in order to allow the hair to grow to a quarter inch. Although the process may have some pain included, the results are undeniable. Many leave with smooth, hairless, beautiful skin, and return again for future treatments.
